SA 200 for sale

This welder is up for sale because I simple don't have a need for it, It starts rite up, welds beutifully and generates DC current well enought to run a grinder or worm drive carpenters saw, I'm a auto mechanic by trade and bought it after it sat unused in someones shop long enough that they could not get it running, Its a really nice welder, but I have three already and just don't have a need for this, so it sits in my shop taking up floor space that I could put to better use, Its in Unionville, Pa. 19375 and I can load it onto my truck and deliver it {for a fee} as long as the buyer has some way to unload it. Reply:do you have any idea as to the year of the machine? i have an east coast buddy (ny area) that was recently looking....i will check in on him and see if he still needs a back up machine.
Reply:The welder was built in 1979{ if I remember correctly} and was used in a trade school till it closed sometime in the late 80's,it was then purchised by one of the schools graduates and used lightly in a business, when that man retired he sold all his equipment that he had stored in a metal building/shop at his home, He said that last time he had used it it had worked perfectly but he couldn't get it running and knew nothing about why it woundn't start. A carb rebuild and magnito going over later and it runs great, I added an hour meter and replaced the indicater lite for oil pressure, went over it and did routine maintenance { battery and cables,oil and filter,service oil bath air cleaner,ect}} and put it against the back wall of my auto repair shop........and there it sits. been there almost a year and hasn't been used, so I moved it out, put fresh gas in it and it fired rite up and works perfectly.
