Er312 tig filler, seems too cheap

Reply:I bought a box of that same filler, its made in china, along with most of the welding filler nowadays..works pretty good, I use it as a hobbyist..and that seller on ebay is good, fast shipping and no problems with the transaction..Of all the things I lost I miss my mind the most...I know just enough about everything to be dangerous......You cant cure stupid..only kill it...
Reply:That's about what I pay for it at my lws. I had her special order it for me. It flows crazy good into the puddle and can take heat real good. You will be happy you ordered it!

Reply:For the smaller diameter filler wire, that ebay seller has the best pricing.  I bought 40 lbs with an average cost of $6.40 / lbs.  Considering that the 0.035" and the 0.045" filler is much more expensive than the 1/8" filler, it came out to a great deal.  Great Ebay seller, fast shipping, good packaging. 1st on WeldingWeb to have a scrolling sig! Reply:I'm aware, I find myself digging through the scrap pile often. On occasion I use stainless because I don't have the material in steel. I've been using 309 for joining dissimilar metals. I have heard good things about 312 and figured it can't hurt to have some in hand. What is the intended use for 312 besides joining dissimilar metals?
Reply:309 sucks compared to 312. It even goes in the puddle way better then 70s2. It goes in the puddle like your welding AL
