Is it OK to use 1/8" 7018 rod on 3/8" angle to plate fillet weld or do I need to step up to a 5/32" rod? Thanks in advance! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
Reply:It'll be just fine.Crank it up and smoke it in.Might have to do 3 passes to get a decent weld size.5/32" would be nice tho.Just a couple welders, big hammers, grinders, and torches.Work will free you.Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it. Reply:If you have 5/32 use it. If not, use the 1/8 and you'll be fine."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! I sent him over to snag that MIC-4 while tbone wasn't looking!" - duaneb55"I have bought a few of Tbone's things unlike Stick-Man who helps himself" - TozziWelding"Stick-man"
