Royal Purple oil in SA 200

Anyone use Royal Purple synthetic in their SA 200 ?  I m having a fresh engine dropped in and was contemplating a switch from conventional oil.
Reply:be sure to upgrade your filtration system to allow you to reap all the bennefits of syn-oil. otherwise not that great of an idea to me

Reply:I think it would be unnecessary. Your Continental will probably last 40-50 years with a regular change of good quality oil as it is. Why add an expense in a motor that stays at 3 RPM's it's whole life? (idle, high idle, and load)    Save that race oil for the hot rod that gobbles up the tachometer.
