Reply:We used to get it for lining walls of x-ray rooms. I may still have a partial piece that size, but it's probably  1/8" and I doubt it's worth shipping.A more economical option might just be to pour it yourself. If you can work with pieces and solder them together, a cookie sheet would work, the kind with the turned up edges. You'd need to get it level in both directions if you need an even thickness. The easiest way I know how would be to fill the pan with water. I'd lay out sand on a table and get it as close as possible with a good torpedo level. Then I'd pour in some water and see how close I really was. I'd suck out the water, Shop vac would probably get most of it up, the carefully blot up the rest before drying it with a hair dryer. Try not to disturb the pan while you do this. Note : DO NOT POUR MOLTEN LEAD INTO A PAN THAT"S EVEN SLIGHTLY DAMP! The water will flash to steam and throw molten lead every where..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:Call local demolition companies. I used to get it all the time when demoing parts of hospitals, dentist offices and doctors offices. It is between the layers of sheetrock. Also call the larger scrap yards, that is where I took the stuff I removed.
Reply:You could probably get a small roll of lead roof flashing from a local harware store.
Reply:Try plumbing or roofing supply house. They use it on their roof drains.
Reply:Thanks guys,scrap yards,never thought about that---

Reply:Lead lined drywall: probably about the best sound proofing material there is. Beats the "this Old House" idea of fiberglass in the walls by miles....No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:Plumbing supply house for sure. Plumber= latin term. Means worker of lead.  Also try a tile setter that does custom shower bases. There are tons of custom shower  bases out there in lead. Around here that's Plumbers work. I'll check at work on Monday.
