I am anew member an could use some expert advise . I have a sa 250 that I bought as scrap my plant was throwing away. I rebuit the engine it had a turned bearing it now runs great. But when I got it running it had no weld output flashed the feilds and welder started working great.Then it sat a couple of weeks and I went back and replaced the 120 ac recepticals an both breakers also replaced several spade connectors on the rectifier.Now when started nothing ac an barely spark on leads.flashed feilds nothing.fuse checks good next I checked the slip rings I have no resistance FULL CONTINUITY not open.What does this mean is my exciter coil gone ? Oh yea it ohms good to ground 500000 .
