Had my Millermatic 130 since the mid-eighties doing mostly weekend welding and I'd like to know how to tell when I need a new torch liner?
Reply:If you've had it that long, I'd just replace the liner. I think they're only $15-20.My name's not Jim....
Reply:Wire feed issues are a sign of a kinked or dirty liner.Boostins right after this many years I would just change it.
Reply:Wire feed issues would indicate a kinked or clogged liner. I just replaced mine the other day as i had droped something on it and sure as poop when i removed it, it was kinked. I had bad feed issues anytime the whip wasnt straight. Ive read or was told that excessive dirty work areas can clog and gum up a line causing poor welds due to the dirt getting into the puddle.
