Double Swing Gate

Recently did this gate for a guy.  Outer frames are 2x2x.120 wall, inner frame and cross brace 1x1.095.  He supplied the hinges, prints, painted the panels, cut / fit the wood, and hung the frames.  His design, and he provided the sealed ball bearing, adjustable hinges.  The rectangle tube bolted to the posts were capped top and bottom to keep water out.  Panels still need final adjustment.  His buddy says he wants the same thing..so we'll see!-AaronJet 17.5" Drill Press1942 South Bend 16x84 Lathe1980s Miller 320A / BP --- 2013 Power Mig 2562012 Jet 7x12 Horizontal BandsawVictor O/A Setup

Reply:Nice looking gates!  I build a lot of gates - those are great hinges.  It makes a huge difference being able to adjust the hinges a little, especially when you have a lock like that one.

Reply:I like it!   Hinges Look good.   I recently dealt with hinge making and didn't think of that design.
