Custom Fence Build

Howdy.This is a project I wrapped up Sunday.  300 feet of custom fence.2" posts2" top rail1/2" picketsThe rings were purchased and made from 1/2" tubeSecond top rail and bottom rail - prepunched channel 1 1/2" x 1/2"pickets 6" on centerAll welding done with my Miller Passport.The gate inserts are custom, of course.  The front yard is designed to resemble Red Lodge Mountain Ski Area's logo and the back yard is designed to resemble the Crazy Mountains in south central Montana.  All the inserts hand cut with a Miller 375.The compound slopes required some math.  This is replacing vinyl fence which was destroyed in a hail storm this spring.The clients were very pleased and are telling their friends!  That is the best advertising.John Attached Images

Reply:Looks great! I like that it has a open view of the yard, sky etc etc.Living in a rural area where the only fences I have are to keep my stock in, I have a bit of a hatred for fencing.

Reply:That should stand up to any future hail storm no matter how bad it gets. It should also help keep the inmates, I mean children, corralled in a safe area. Nice job. I bet it took at least a couple of days to get it completed.
Reply:Thanks. I have a full time desk job, so this was nights and weekends for two months. All in it was profitable so that's nice. My great granddad said you had a pretty stupid kid that could be fenced in, that's why the only fences he wanted were 3 strands of barbed wire! They weren't concerned about their grand kids getting caught either.

Reply:Very nice looking fence!   I am in the process of building a fence for my backyard and the neighbors.   This winter I built 110 feet for along the lakeshore.   I am trying to come up with an original design but am currently struggling.   Anyway, yours looks awesome!
