Its time for a new account, production job account preferably. How do you guys advertise?I was told Google works pretty good but could be pricey?      Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock

Reply:google ad words is expensive, you are better off in the long run to organically optimise your own web site. or pay someone a few grand to do it for you.
Reply:Word of mouth and happy customers.  You'll have free advertising for years.SteveTweco 211i complete with pedal and TIG kit"Victor Style" Oxy/Acetylene outfitUNIWELD Air/Acetylene Kit
Reply:Yeah word of mouth is good for sure but in my area there are NO industrial sites.....Getting a good production job welding account is proving to be much more than word of mouth  Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock
Reply:I weld for a living Bill through a union, but all my side work comes from word of mouth around town and from previous customers. I don't advertise to hard because my real job often gets in the way of a timely schedule. I would suggest a nice  big decal for the back of your old truck. Precisely worded you can get your point around. That will most likely get you nickel and dime jobs tho. Advertising is hard, and after a bunch of years I know how you wanna work. I get calls all the time for insane work that I have to turn down, I turn down more jobs than I take to be honest, which is also bad advertising. My new moto when I get calls for side work is, I tell people.....If it fits down my basement, i'll do it. If not, it's just to big for me to coincide with my regular job and my time schedule, and I don't have the time to not look like a mamaluke! You're Italian that's why I threw in the mamaluke hehe. Hard for me to say Bill because my day job gets in the way. I know what you're looking for. Those assembly jobs at home on clean material that is jig up and go to town. Tough, but just felt I would respond. I look for those jobs as well. I actually had a architect call and ask if I could sit down for a price quote on a four story elevator shaft for a small apartment complex a while back. These are the calls you want to avoid lol.I hate being bi-polar it's awsomeMy Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys

Reply:BBB has saved me recently.  They advertise in the internet white pages. Just paid $350 to renew. The last job thru BBB paid $5,100 cash. I have no problem taking cash but dont like carrying it around. Burns a hole in my pocket. Im in the drywall construction biz so you may get different results B_C.

Reply:Yeah, why did I think when my girls grew up, moved out, I would be done with kids? I didn't realize they would go off, and multiply! These grandkids cost me way more than my kids ever did.Last spring we bought this van for her. $18,500.00I don't know much about her wheel chair. Still waiting to see what the insurance company won't pay on it. Guess who gets to pay what the insurance company won't?  Attached ImagesDon’t pay any attention to meI’m just a hobbyist!CarlDynasty 300V350-Pro w/pulseSG Spool gun1937 IdealArc-300PowerArc 200ST3 SA-200sVantage 400

Reply:Her dad was telling me the other day, she has a new rule. She can't go over setting 3 on her wheel chair inside the house, all the walls are taking a beating. That chair is really fast! She is the toughest person I know. 9-years old and well over a hundred bones broken so far. She has OI, that brittle bone disease. She has rods through the center of both leg bones, and arms to keep the bones aligned when they break. Just last summer she was here, setting in her wheel chair, putting on her panties, and broke her leg! The most horrible thing I ever seen a kid have to endure. http://www.oif.org/site/PageServerDon’t pay any attention to meI’m just a hobbyist!CarlDynasty 300V350-Pro w/pulseSG Spool gun1937 IdealArc-300PowerArc 200ST3 SA-200sVantage 400

Reply:Bill,  Not sure of their rates or if it would get you quick business, but consider Thomasnet (Thomas Register).
