Reply:I have the 7 1/4" Rage 4 and I really like it for mild steel 1/8" or so. It is quick and accurate. Kind of loud and throws sharp chips, but does the job for me. It is amazing how easy it cuts 1 - 1 1/4" angle, 1/8" flat, or 1/4" black steel pipe. That is a good price for the Rage 2.Burt _____________________Miller Syncrowave 250Millermatic 211Miller 375 Plasma Cutter Hobart Handler 12010FtDrillBit.com
Reply:@ Gamble - Score it. Hands down. Use a R2 14" tons lately on mild steel (2"x2" HSS) and it performs well. Slow n smooth."Discovery is to see what everybody else has seen, and to think what nobody else has thought" - Albert Szent-Gyorgyi
Reply:It's not a bad saw. Had to use a die grinder on the back piece where the bolts go in to get more movement and get it to be completely straight. I'd say it's worth the $189, but I wouldn't spend $299 on it. So far it's worth it.Torchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer
