215IC Wont Lift Start TIG

Sorry if this has been asked before but i have a 215Ic thats about six years old now, i went to do some TIG welding today and I cant get it to reliably lift start the arc, every once in a while doing multiple lifts it will start and once its running its stable.I tried using a pedal and no joy with that either, I verified that its set for 2 step vs 4, and i checked for continuity from the tip of the tig torch to the plug at the end of the cable into the machine and thats fineThe machine works fine on MIG so it's not a ground or power problem, i have it powered on 240 and everything look normal, the ramp up is set to .5 and the ramp down is at 3 seconds.Its been a few years since i had it in TIG mode but it did work at one time or another.  Any help would be appreciated as I have a project i need to wrap up this week ..thanks mh
