Evolution stole my idea with their new S355MCS mitering carbide dry cut saw

I had envisioned making something like this (using a traditional dry cut carbide chop saw) in my head a few years back, so they flat out stole the idea from inside my brain.

Reply:I certainly can't afford one, but I'd certainly trade in my existing Evolution chopper if they wouldn't mind!I'm not sure how durable the clamps are, but it would be great for cutting small work especially when you have a lot of it.  A whole lot quicker than trying to miter with my Ellis bandsaw, that's for sure!
Reply:It was only a matter of time.  Any one who has ever used a compound sliding miter saw has thought and dreamt about this saw.  How safe is it though?  Looks like it might be one major lawsuit away from bankrupting evolution!Lincoln, ESAB, Thermal Dynamics, Victor, Miller, Dewalt, Makita, Kalamzoo.  Hand tools, power tools, welding and cutting tools.
Reply:I have used one of the Evolution wood and metal sliding compound saw with those same style clamps. Scared the crap out of me.
