Hey guysHave a tweco 211i.The hose blew in the machine that connects the gas bottle to the mig gun. Will post picture.Where do I find specs on said hose and where to buy etc.thanks
Reply:You need inert gas hose in whatever inside diameter you have on your machine. Any industrial hose supply or welding supply outlet will have it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk:

Reply:So this looks like just normal air compressor hose ? So this would work correct ? I cant find anything welding specific.https://tinyurl.com/4rurredk

Also the company selling it is based in China so you really won't know what you're getting. The fact that your machine already had what appears to be polyurethane tubing that broke is probably a sign it's not suitable for a welding machine. You're looking for something like this:https://www.ckworldwide.com/products...orced-gas-hose - which is a nylon tubingor https://www.airgas.com/product/Gas-E.../p/RAD64003359 - which is a EPDM rubberBoth are specifically for welding, but the EPDM Rubber one says MIG so I'd probably look for that material in a hose that fits your machine. You'll want to figure out what kind of fittings your machine has, and what diameter the tubing is then chances are you can find a premade hose with new fittings already on it. You can also buy EPDM Rubber tubing in the right diameters and install the fittings yourself if you want to go that route. If you do that make sure the tubing will handle the pressure.I'd imagine you could find the tubing here if you want: https://www.mcmaster.com/hose/materi...r/air-hose-11/
Reply:yes it has no fittings as danielplace said.Just a piece of hose with 2 ear clamps.Just wasn't sure what spec it needed to be - eg how much pressure etc

Reply:This thread caught my eye as a Tweco 211i owner. I'm surprised (and disappointed) to see that line burst post-solenoid especially as these machines aren't that old and it likely sees single-digit psi numbers. Any chance you have an obstruction downstream?
