I can equip a Cutmaster 60ix with the automation kit and MechPak for $3695.For $2625 I can get a Hyperthem Powermax 45XP with the 25' lead and machine torch. It has a CNC port.Since I am retired from farming I doubt I will put cutting much 1/2" stuff anymore and if I do I can cut it old school with my oxyfuel torch. Having said that how do you think the two mentioned above would do on 3/8" or 1/2" on a plasma table?When I replaced my Miller 625 (old version, not the new light one) with the Cutmaster 40 I felt I got cheated. They both said 40A but the Miller out cut the Cutmaster because it's power supply produces more power.. My guess is the Hypertherm 40A is probably about the same wattage as the Cutmaster 60.Thoughts?
