I have an old Sam 650, my guess is its about a 1980. I keep it around for big jobs like air arcing or welding new bottoms in loader buckets, etc. So it sits a lot, I went to use it and engine low idles fine but it just barely strikes an arc and won't rap up to high idle. Its the 6 cylinder gas motor. Any ideas on what to look for? Thanks in advance
Reply:my sam400's are slightly newr than ur's, and dont tach up/no exciter, u need to set throttle mechanically. also, u havent used it in a while, and the setting are lil confusing, and terminoly is outdated, so double check. maybe check/shine commentats/armeture up , and brushes . other than the basics, i dont know much, id be here ;ooking for help too |
