2x4 shaded cover lense

Hey there. I'm curious if there is such a thing as a shade 1 cover lens for the 2x4 fiber metal helmets. I cant seem to find any.Sent from my SM-A530W using Tapatalk
Reply:I've never seen one.... just shades 5 to 13. If you want to add it to move you up a shade, I think your best bet would be to switch to a decent auto-dim with adjustable shades 5-13. Reply:Buy a replacement lens for a face shield and cut one out of that. As mentioned, shade 1 would be no different that sunglasses.If you try cutting a face shield, I recommend using an abrasive cutting wheel or maybe even a hot knife. Reply:A lot of things have changed and I used to have a safety paper on it but mixing tinted lens to get different shades is not a recommended practice can’t remember all of it guys used to mix shades in flip up hoods to cut and weld 7 & 3 made a ten ? 6 & 4 made a ten ? But technically that paper I had said it didn’t ? Like I said a lot has changed in lens over the years it might not be valid any more
