Thermal Arc Fabricator 211i welder problem

Well first off this is my first post and I hope it’s in the right place. I have a 211i that stopped working tonight it doesn’t get signal to turn on when the Mig trigger is pulled the wire feed motor doesn’t turn on nor does the gas solenoid. It has power in stick mode but no voltage in Tig the pedal adjusts the amps but no voltage. I can’t find any wiring diagrams or any parts for it!  Was working fine today tig welding and just refused to restart. I am really regretting buying this machine now that it’s broken none of the local welding supplies will repair it and without any parts I need a good wiring diagram to diagnose this. I’m not getting any voltage to the trigger switch pins on the front circuit board this damn thing has tons of ICs and surface mount components and unfortunately no ****stains so it’s almost impossible to diagnose the problem without a detailed set of electrical diagrams. Unfortunately I can’t find what I need online (the only one online is an oversimplification) and no one locally will touch it.  Please help I am going to lose my mind trying to trace out these boards they are multi layer boards this is almost impossible as some traces are not visible from either side!
Reply:The operators manual has a complete schematic diagram including the pin connections for the remote triggers.  Google it and if the TA badged version does not have this information use the Tweco badged manual because I have one and it has the information you need.  Pins 2 and 3 are a simple switch contact closure, so you can try manually jumping these at the front panel connector and if that doesn’t work, follow the wires to the board and jump them there.  If jumping the wires at the board don’t make it run, then it is a board problem.  ESAB/Victor provides service for these machines and it is still sold as the Victor Firepower Fabricator 220.

Reply:Not sure how to post pics but it was the inductor L805 next to the GUN terminal on the control board had welding output but no voltage to the trigger switch pins 2 and 3 on the connector if anyone has this problem as the board is no longer available.
Reply:All’s well that ends well.  Nobody shows a schematic of PC boards now days and some of the ICs are custom and proprietary.  If the component that failed does not leave a smoking mess it is hard to spot the problem.  Blown surface mount resistors are hard to spot without a magnifying glass and you don’t expect something like an inductor to fail without letting out the magic smoke.Congratulations on figuring it out.  It is hard to believe that the board is no longer available since they still sell this model as the Firepower MST 220i.
