Maybe duaneb55 site leader might pick up on this problemI have seen a post - that he put up on this site dealing with this machineanyway- I want to check my machine out - it has power by a 20 up Honda engine- works great just no weld power or aux power- Thanks for any help
Reply:Could be failed excitation capacitors same as the machine I posted about as well as a number of other reasons. Reply:Thank you Duane for your reply- just now trying to figure out how the forum worksanyway- I already have a copy of the Service Manual- but thanks for the offerI want to test the caps--the drawing in the service manual- shows two posts comingout of the top of a single cap- but-- there are 3 posts coming out of each of the two capsthat I have on my machine -so how do you test them - in other words--where do youattach the probes of the meter ?

Reply:Thanks DuaneHad to get a meter that would test the caps--did what you said and the caps tested out good and the output rectifier test was satisfactoryso now I will have to troubleshoot the rest of the machineThanks for your help
