Anyone know where I can get some repair fitting kits to replace the B size LH hose fittings on my CK super flex water lines? The water line ID is pretty small, 3/16. I couldn't identify them exactly at the Western Enterprises web site. I am eliminating the zero loss quick connects (giving me some fits lately). I want to put the hose ends back the way they came on the torch kit and screw them directly into the water cooler. A kit with nipple, nut and a ferrule would make it easy if it exists. This is one of the ends I cut off to install the zero quick connects.

Reply:That looks like a reusable fitting with the threads visible just ahead of the brass knurled sleeve or is that just the barbs for the crimped knurled sleeve? Even if it's not a reusable, can you cut the sleeve off and get another to crimp on?
Reply:That is the original CK nipple with a crimped ferrule. I don't have enough nipples, nuts and would prefer to do the hose ends over fresh with new nipples even if I have to get a crimping tool.I talked to someone at CK and got some part no's but they don't sell direct. So far it's still not clear what to order and from who.Got an email out to one online supply with the picture I posted to be clear what I'm trying to do.Ernie F.

Reply:Thank everyone for the responses. This is what I'm looking for: https://www.arc-zone.com/Hose-Repair-Kit-A-HRW-316BL That didn't show up when I searched, thanks for the link.I thought they were crimped because the girl on the phone at CK said they were crimped! But I do see the threads at the end.Shovelon: I like those thumb wheel fittings, Part #35HNC-W but the female water fittings aren't solid to the front of my cooler. I need to use a wrench on them anyway. I had the Arc-zone zero loss quick connect fittings and they were giving me trouble so out they come.Last edited by metalman21; 2 Weeks Ago at 11:56 AM.Ernie F. |
