Looking for an Argon/CO2 regulator that isnt Made in China. Extra points for Made in USA or Canada. I want off of the buy/break/replace hamster wheel. Does Victor still have some models that are made in the US or have they been offshored completely?Running these in a production shop with employees so they do have to be solid. All GMAW machines.

Reply:Danielplace : thank you, Ill look into those. Metalman21 :I know its hard to dodge China, but Ive been pretty successful the last 2 years. At the shop my tool replacement bills are down and my dump runs are nearly cut in half. Life is better even accounting for the fact that its a real pain to buy some things. Other than tiny electronics or small ball bearings I have almost always found alternatives.
Reply:Harris 355-2 is a fantastic flow meter, not ridiculously expensive, and made in the USA. I've put them on three machines and really like them.https://www.amazon.com/Harris-310020.../dp/B002QN0G1Whttps://www.harrisproductsgroup.com/...on&sku=3100200Harris moved things around and it's harder to find the documentation about being made in the USA, but this covers it:https://www.harrisproductsgroup.com/...55-2-FlowmeterLast edited by G-ManBart; 6 Hours Ago at 09:06 PM.Check out my bench vise website: http://mivise.comMiller Syncrowave 250DXMillermatic 350P with XR AlumaProMiller Regency 200 with 22A feeder and Spoolmatic 3Hobart Champion EliteEverlast PowerTig 210EXT |
