Will a Spoolmate 100 work with a WC-24

I recently bought a Miller XMT 304 and it came with a Spoolmate 100. I was wondering if I could simply get a WC-24 to run it. Also, if anyone has a WC-24 they would be willing to sell I am interested. I’m 15 and I want to get more into welding but don’t want to spend a ton. Thanks

Reply:You probably wouldn't be happy with a Spoolmate 100 anyway. A 15A or 30A is only about 8 to 10 times the cost. An XMT 304 is a very good machine though. Did it come with a wire feeder?

Reply:James0123  is 15 years old by the looks. He has the Spoolmate 100, it was included with the XMT 304,  If he could find a SGA 100C he could probably make that work but it might not be plug and play. I saw a new one on Ebay $803.00 USD so not likely practical for him.---Meltedmetal
Reply:Thanks everyone for the support. Welder Dave, it did not come with a wire feeder. Also, would any of you recommend a spoolmatic 3 for my machine. I saw one on eBay for $1100 and don’t know if that is a common price. If it is, I’m probably not going to go that route.
