So i have had this little wire feed no gas welder for about 10-years. I got it to use for some welding power off a generator at my camp which is off grid. i really have not used it since except to tack a few things but my son wants it to weld up a work table so i agreed to set it up to weld 1/4-inch thick steel. it welds okay for that at the top end. I welded 1/4 to 1/4 and and 1/4 to 1/16 no problem and a decent serviceable weld. I did vertical up and down it does it. I think it's a decent little flux core no gas welder that does okay welding stringers and might be a good first welder to learn on. 211 is not well respected in the field but for hobby welding it works fine.
