Looking for info/value on a M&T Murex 180 ac arc welder. I have done countless hours or research and cant find anything at all on this welder so any help would be appreciated. Last edited by Dlm215; 8 Hours Ago at 07:10 PM.
Reply:Not to disappoint, but I doubt it's very valuable. No more so than an old Sears or something like that. You can get a lot done with a 180A AC transformer machine like that. The model number is M18T-1... so it prolly runs off of Milwaukee M18 batteries. Joking. Anyway, I imagine that the "T" in the designation stands for "Taps". There may have been a version of this machine that had a rotary switch to select the amperage.Very similar to the old Lincoln AC180 machines. You have T models and S models.
