Ok guys... same issue as was just resolved for Eric H-L's older Sears welder... I want to add new plug-ins and cable ends to the old beast, but I want to use the same ends as I have for the old Miller Dialarc (70's vintage AC/DC machine) . The closest I see are the Lenco LC 10 MP connectors, but with a different taper. I take it the only source will be to order direct from Miller? They run from .330 to .355, but the taper length is 1.25 rather than the 1" the Lenco's use. If I want to add cable extensions, it seems the male/female connections from Miller are harder to find. It would be nice to have everything between the 2 machines interchangeable, but I'm sensing that might not be easy without upgrading the fittings on the Dialarc and it's cables to something else? The harder you fall, the higher you bounce...250 amp Miller DialArc AC/DC StickF-225 amp Forney AC Stick230 amp Sears AC StickLincoln 180C MIGVictor Medalist 350 O/ACut 50 PlasmaLes

Reply:The Forney ones I linked “said” it fit Miller.

I am in need of 3 plugs for Forney so that I can sell my last two machines. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I did find some cheaper versions of the Lenco male end though.... females are more elusive.    https://canadaweldingsupply.ca/colle.../lenco-lc-10mp

I can get the male ends for $20 each (might check out Welder's Supply tomorrow when I'm in Winnipeg), it's the female ends for either a cable, or machine mount that add up. Those ones I found for American Amazon come to $50 Cdn.  each but I can only get black.

Reply:My current line of thought is to leave the machine outlets alone, and add in the Tweco connectors a few inches down the line. I managed to snag 40' of 1/0 today while it was on sale for half price, and I was going to pick up 7 Tweco's but they only had one in stock. Gives me enough to repair the one taped up lead anyway. Plan is to make up a couple short (15' ) leads that I can either interchange or add onto my 25's as need be. I also want to be able to interchange different grounds (magnetic, regular clamp, high clearance clamp) at the flick of a wrist. PA's price on the Tweco connectors was around $20 each so I might find some cheaper online. The harder you fall, the higher you bounce...250 amp Miller DialArc AC/DC StickF-225 amp Forney AC Stick230 amp Sears AC StickLincoln 180C MIGVictor Medalist 350 O/ACut 50 PlasmaLes

Reply:I upgraded the Dinse 35 to 50 on my Thermal Arc 210 years ago so I could interchange with my Millers.  ( one 350xmt had Tweco panel plugs the other XMT , Dinse50.). Also had a handful of Tweco-Dinse adapters.

Reply:If still had turret lathe I could make about 50 per hour. Now still had screw machine about 200 hour. I still have a engine lathe about 15 an hour. Dave
