Replacing EPP-450 Plasma Power Supply with EPP-600C

Hello i'm trying to figure out if an ESAB EPP-600c Power Supply can replace an EPP-450 Power Supply. I've read in the manuals they're both compatible with smart flow 2 system, and some of the same torch heads. Other then the output being higher on the epp-600c is it capable of working on a system that currently has an epp-450.... I am not familiar with these machines, i'm trying to help a friend find more information. I apologize if this isn't enough information to produce an answer, I will get more info if needed.Thank you!
