The output of this welder when running is only 50 volts at the 110 AC outlets. I only get a small spark at the stinger. The DC power at the slip rings is 31 Volts. The output from the stater excitation winding is only about 18 Volts measured between leads 4 and 5 at the full wave rectifier diode. I would appreciate any help on what to look for from here.
Reply:If anyone knows what the correct output is for the exciter winding and for the slip rings I would greatly appreciate that information.
Reply:Lincoln customer service is very helpful, and duaneb55 and ccawc are helpful on this site.
Reply:I don't have the specific values you're looking for but voltage across leads #4 and #5 is AC if you weren't already aware. With an almost doubled voltage thru the bridge rectifier makes me suspect it may possibly have one or more failed diodes and giving you false readings. Have you disconnected it and tested for such?MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110
