Reply:thanks for the heads up 7a749 but i was thinkin more on the lines of used but not abused.only have 150 in this welder so 100 or better for a faceplate just scares me. FelonCaution lurker lives here" hmmm That is serious, pass the ganja and pick up a 24 of MGD"
Reply:Felonyass MonkThis is the, Straight 'info' No Chaser.Post a Pic.I see hundreds of welding machines a year, in all conditions; I do not purchase/collect weldors, but I am familiar with virtually every vintage machine posted on the WW.Post a Pic, and you will have an expanded resource field beyond collectors and those fluent with model numbers.Opus

Reply:Take the plate down to your local sign printing shop, that's what I do, the local shop actually prints on the metal, comes out looking amazing.
Reply:Only one problem with that idea,I don't have a faceplate to work from.i had the welder apartFor repair and painting and by the time I got back to it the faceplate had gone south.i have heard rumors that it was used to patch something up but have yet to find the culprit so I can strangle same said!!!! Reply:I am going to try and make a stencil for it I will try and keep you posted on how it comes out.
Reply:If have good photo you go to copy center and have reproduced. I use copy paper and put temper hardboard. Using a clear cote .The biggest problem is finding a clear cote that does not melt the print.Dave
