Looking for recommendations about a new Hydraulic Shear/Press Brake combo that would have the capacity to cut 48" x 3/16" and bend 48" x 3/16". Not having any luck with Google so far. I found one company "Steel" Metal Fabrication Equipment but could only find horrid reviews of the product and service. Any recommendations? Thx!Please dont mistake my enthusiasm for talent!

Reply:As someone who owns a 1/4 x 10 shear and 230 ton press brake, I cant see any reputable manufacturer making a machine like that.3/16 is not thin material to shear, so you need a hefty frame for it.To bend 3/16, off the top of my head, you will need a bare minimum of 50 tons of pressure. That's pretty hard to put them together and still have a good machine.Your better off looking for used separate machines off places like ebay.
