Hello everybody. The chubby torch that came along with my Tig feels heavy and my wrist gets uncomfortable after some time

I did got a replacement from ebay but that one gets very hot . I dont wish to mention the brands. My question is , maybe anyone knows a nimble torch to suggest that can do up to 200A? I can make also a watercooler so this ones can be an option too.Thank you in advance for any repliesCheersGeorge
Reply:I changed the hose from a stiff to highly flexible one, made a big difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Reply:Best for in shop welding is a water cooled torch, smaller size and much easier to hold. Highly recommendthe CK brand with super flex hose all their water cool torches are 100% duty cycle in DC and AC weldingRichardWest coast of Florida
Reply:Go water cooled and dont look back. CK 20 with super flex hoses are good. Only time I use a air cooled is if I take the inverter out of shop, (rare). The air cooled is a smaller CK 17 with a super flex gas hose and separate cable for the arc. That is easier, for me, to connect with dinse. I dont recall the model no. but its smaller and easier to handle than ones Ive had in the past.Ernie F. |
