Has anyone here ever had a Magneto rebuilt? I know that there are several makers and models of these units but I am primarily looking for ballpark costs.Do you know if they send you a rebuilt unit and you send them your unit to rebuild or not ?Also has anyone disassembled one or knows how difficult it is to rebuild one yourself ... with reasonable skills. Finally has anyone converted from the Magneto to a distributor and how difficult/expensive is that !!!!!Thank you all
Reply:Try your local airport they use Magneto's on aircraft. They not hard to rebuild the biggest problem is get the magnetic recharged. Dave
