Miller Thunderbolt 210

Anyone have experience or know about the Miller Thunderbolt 210? Is it a good runner? Trying to do some research on it. Thanks

Reply:I think it is way over priced for what it is. I am sure it is a good welder. It is the replacement for the olde transformer Thunderbolt machines. But honestly, the ESAB Rogue 181i does everything the Thunderbolt does, and then some for the same money or less. https://www.weldingsuppliesfromioc.c...der-0700500070The max amps are slightly lower on the ESAB unit (180 vs 210) but I think having adjustable hot start and adjustable arc force on the ESAB unit far outweigh the difference in top end ampsMiller Multimatic 255
Reply:Louie, what is the Easb at 160A?  I think the 210 is at 30% maybe,,, turn it down to 160 and it would run big lohy pretty decent.   They would run 1/8 as fast as you can stick them in there and I bet 5/32 at 50 or 60% which is almost as fast as it can be done.  Those class of machines would fill some of the space it used to take a dialarc to do.www.urkafarms.com
