I am after a 4ft framing square. Same as the smaller 2ft framing square, just that its, well about 4ft long. Never really measured it. Anyway I used one at my last workplace and now I want to buy one for myself. Can't seem to find any on the internet. Guys at the new place didn't know what I was talking about, said they had never seen one before. So, anyone know where I can get one?
Reply:I don't know where you can get a 4 foot framing square but I know they make 48 inch T-square's, they are fairly inexpensive also. Don't know if that would be helpful.
Reply:T square is offset top of T so it works easier on sheet goods. I'd expect a L shaped framing square to be awkward on the big stuff. An optimist is usually wrong, and when the unexpected happens is unprepared. A pessimist is usually right, when wrong, is delighted, and well prepared.
