We are having our last house built now. I built my last house, a log house, 22 years ago. It was supposed to be our last house but the nearest town grew faster than I thought it would and final straw, I could see a house from my house. I got lucky and went in with a friend and bought 223 acres further out. I'm having this house built as I'm horribly slow at carpenter work. I've built the light fixtures and now building the dining table. I posted pictures of the beam light that is going above the table. I wanted to use a beam of wood in the table to tie the two together. My wife found a leg set she liked. (Damn Pinterest) Here is some pictures and a picture of the light fixture to see how it will go together.
