Sa200 Won't start

Iv got a sa200 I believe  is a 79 model. It won't start without being jumped off. The battery has 11.5 volts and new alternator, it won't even try to start unless it's being jumped. Aldo it won't idle up not sure if that has something to do with it to. Any help I'd appreciate
Reply:That battery should read about 12.3 volts. 11.5 is too low. Can't help with the idle problem.
