Mobile Radio Antenna Base

So this is a base for a large antenna that gets used for FEMA deployments to disasters where a base station needs to be established during a possible grid failure/major disaster etc to cover a large area.A car or truck tire gets parked on it for ballast. They asked me to replicate it, to which I asked if I can change the design so it doesn’t need a bunch of silly pins. So this is what I came up with, it’s all 1/4”. Waiting for final approval on the design to start the build. Should be a couple hour project.

Reply:Zach, how big is the antenna (or what frequency band is it) and how long of a mast will plug into the yellow section? I recently bough an antenna for my ham radio that tilts over, but the design seems a whole lot simpler. this is a 43 foot mast, so it might be overkill. The tilt plate and mast are aluminum, the hardware is stainless. See below:

Nice, simple design.  That mass of pins was a mess.  I would, however, attach a small chain from the mast holder to the pull pin with the ring in it....that will be the first thing that gets lost, I guaraaaannnnteee!
