I bought a POWERARC 200 9 years ago for use on my hobby farm. Comparing it to the POWERARC 200STi it seems the price has remained constant since then! It is incredibly lightweight and I drag it all over the place. I have welded bush hogs, plow supports, rebar, trailer parts, axle mounts, cultipackers, etc. Has always done everything I needed it to and I have gone through over 50lb of 7018 with zero problems even though I store the welder in my shop which is not climate controlled. Thank you for producing such a reliable, easy-to-use welder! However, to weld thinner pieces of sheet metal I am now considering a MIG device even though 90% of my welding will still be 7018 stick. Will probably pass the stick welder on to someone else so I need a dual SMAW/GMAW. Will the POWER I-MIG 200 do all the stick welding that my previous POWERARC 200 did? |
