I picked up an Airco Super Hornet 300, serial # 72-627568.The fine current rheostat was missing, so I installed the correct one, 300 watts 34 ohms.I looked at the earliest Miller Big 40 owners manual and followed the wiring schematic, but it looks different.I have three wires, one coming from the gen, and two from the wound resistor, that I believe go to the 3 poles on the rheostat.Does anyone have the wiring details on this machine to the rheostat? |
