Reply:I would look into CK or weldcraft as other options.
Reply:You melted it ? https://www.weldingweb.com/images/smilies/angryfire.gif OUCH ! First you might want to replace the #17 with a new one, and then decide if you need a #20 water cooled torch, or a # 26 air cooled so you don't have another melt down. CK , weldcraft, lincoln, miller, and WeldTec are all pretty good. I have an old 12ft #17, and 25ft. #26 from CNI, which are made somewhere here in New Jersey. I got them from PraxAir many years ago. I like my new C-K flexhead #17(12ft) for the smaller stuff up to 1/4" for short runs (not production) steel, stainless and aluminum.RegardsAirco 250 ac/dc Heliwelder Square waveMiller Synchrowave 180 sdMiller Econo Twin HFLincoln 210 MPDayton 225 ac/dcVictor torchesSnap-On YA-212Lotos Cut60D
