I would like to know if a 480 volt welder will weld differently than 220 volt welder? My welding process is MIG, Dual shield flux core and SMAW. Also, amperage settings shouldnt differ because amperage is 10 amps with either voltages. Reply:As long as your power source can supply the welding machine with the required volts and amps for your setting it should make no difference.
