If you've not seen Doug Fleet's Texas shop, you really need to take a minute and marvel at what he's done.No doubt about the man's skills, that for sure. Thought I do mostly metal work, and not very much good at that, Doug's shop is full of ideas for keeping things organized and easy to find.I've often cautioned folks to use their shops as a canvas to showcase their skills, and Doug's basically the epitome of that. Truly amazing to see the level of detail he's gone in to for even the most mundane things. Of course, it's a good idea to do projects like this because you get the chance to learn new skills and techniques. This is something I might actually be able to accomplish on my own. I've long disliked the organizers you can buy at the store and this idea seems pretty reasonable in terms of skill required. Famous last words, I know! |
