My Massey Ferguson fuel tank has corroded beyond repair and they want $1800 for a new one. That's not happening so I'm looking at making another one.Cardboard mockup first for fit but I was wondering if you all think brazed joints would be adequate for this. No pressure or vacuum on it but I haven't done it before either. My skills with stick welding aren't far enough along to do this while brazing is. Thanks to all for ideas and input!
Reply:If it is just the bottom that is bad could you cut it out and braze in a new bottom?Might be a lot less work...or not!
