I have the ESAB Rogue 180. I typically use plain jane 6010. With the Rogue the 6010's start good and don't snuff out. Any reason I should move up to 5p+?Thanks
Reply:I use 5p+ with mine, no issues. It's a more readily available electrode from my supplier so it's generally what I use.
Reply:From the 5 or so different brand 6010s that I've tried, 5P+ and 6P+ initiate the arc easier, and require the least amount of amps to keep running;  not a huge difference but I can tell they can run with ~5 less amps than other 6010s, should the situation call for it.
