Miller Optima pulser connection problem

So I bought an XMT 350 used but like new.  Since I had a 30a spoolgun I then bought a WC24 weld controller too run the spoolgun. So far so good.  I wanted to try some pulsed mig so I bought a used Optima pulser on eBay, model 043389, which Miller tech support would work with the XMT.  The pulser plugs into the WC24 but the 14 pin pigtail female connector of the pulser won’t quite fit the 14 pin male of the 30a spoolgun.  The ring and groove don’t quite align.   I think I’m trying to do this correctly?   It’s supposed to work?  I have attached a picture.

Reply:The optima I have plugs straight into the XMT and the 64 wire feeder plugs into the female. No problems, but it is a little trickier to line up being plastic. Your setup should work... maybe some of the plastic is burred over?Murphy's Golden Rule: Whoever has the gold, makes the rules.
