Help with all these functions

I recently bought a Lincoln 350 MP and I realized that it has all kind of functions such as: Run in, start, arc control,  crater, burnback, spot, etc etc I was wondering if anyone could explain what each one these does in simple words? I've been welding with a miller 252 all my life and this is just a new world to me

Reply:With the exception of arc control, all those features are available on the MM 252. Seems like you didn't need them on the 252, so I am not sure I would worry about them on the new machine
