I recently acquired a Miller pulsing unit "Electroslope-3" that I would like to install it on an older Syncrowave 3 tig welder. I have a copy of the owners manual but it does not give any details about how to install the unit. Apparently this unit was designed to add pulsing to a variety of welders. The owners manual references a field installation instructions that are shipped with the unit. However mine did not come with any instructions. Does anyone have a copy of the installation instructions? The serial number of the electroslope is JG070742. The syncrowave 3 serial number is JB549773.Any Help is appreciated.
Reply:your syn 300 might be to new for the electroslope 3.You have start and crater fill controls on your welder. You don't need this unit.It is not a pulser. It controls the start time and weld current and ramps it up to weld level. then the down slope is the same as crater fill.

Reply:It looks like it's specifically for older TIG sets without a sequencer - when you want to use a torch button without a pedal. You plug this unit into wheere the pedal goes, and put your torch switch(es) into it.Then with the torch switch(es) you have up and downslopes configured. It appears looking at the back wiring labels - 2 switches for 2 inputs sharing a common. You'd need a double button or rocker switch on your torch.https://manualzz.com/doc/51901970/mi...-3-user-manualNot really useful for any modern-ish power sources, unfortunately - although it's a cool looking device.
Reply:only seen it one time and think it was connected to a pulser cabinet that was as big as the top of the welder. Had to disconnect them both because they were not repairable but the welder was still good.
