Any Paint & Body help on how to touch up plastic bumper

What do  I use to prep small areas on a plastic bumper in order to remove wax and contaminates before applying touch up paint? Something safe for the plastic. It is just for small scratch and chip repair. Reply:I use Southern Polyurethane Inc. (SPI)  700-1 wax and grease remover on plastic bumpers.Ernie F.
