Looking for a new helmet! $100-$150

I have the Tweco weldskill I got with my 211i years ago and the clarity of the lens has went to crap, I guess its about at its lifespan, plus my eyesight isnt as good as it was.. I need cheaters but the lens isnt clear anymore either, had my neighbor who is a welder by trade check it and he said it was on its last leg. I cant see the puddle, basically welding by the arc flash. I'm a bit more than a hobby welder, I mig with a 211i, I also own an  AHP200 tig welder that I use... I was tigging some brackets yesterday  and got fed up with my tweco helmet and stopped and came inside and got  some coffee..I'm looking to spend $100-$150 on a helmet, just like anyone else I want bang for the buck but I'm not afraid of spending a little less or more if I need too..  What I'm looking at so far..  I want grind mode and variable shade. I would also like the new color correct lens if possible, but not needed.. Reply:Well I went and visited my mother today, she's in rehab recovering from a triple bypass... I stopped by harbor freight afterwards and talked to the manager and she found me a coupon for the Vulcan ArcSafe for $120, so I bought it... I also bought a 2 year replacement warranty for $30... Got it home and checked it out, installed the battery, it came with 5 extra lens covers for outside and inside.. The helmet looks good, the headgear feels a little flimsy but it's way more comfortable than the Tweco I had. I think the Vulcan may be a little lighter also.. Reply:I've been more than pleasantly surprised with the 2x4 Auto lense from Radnor. Super clear.(fixed shade 10) for 100 bucks.I assume their other lense cartridges are quite good too.

Reply:I know, yall be mad that I got the Harbor Freight Vulcan ArcSafe, but here it is..  I looked at the Hobart Impact and the Vulcan and it have the exact same headgear, and it is very comfortable but a bit flimsy..  I bought a Hobart 1.5 Diopter to put in it, fit like a glove, the Vulcan has some tabs inside and diopter slides into the tabs and it has some pressure retention, easy enough..
