Money DOES Grow on Trees

My new best friend is in the movie industry locally ( Hollywood North) and amongst the ACRES of industrial set decor he owns are “valve trees”He has a part warehouse full of these valves, pipes, and gauges welded up into different configurations you would encounter in those abandoned warehouse scenes in a number of movies.  



I’m not at liberty to disclose how much he has made renting them out over the years but to help fuel your imagination, I can assure you it IS substantial!Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk:

Reply:Talk about getting a bit part!  It would be interesting to pick one out in a movie.  Did he show you any that appeared in a particular film?When I see pipes and valves in a movie, I just know someone is going to get scalded with steam during a fight.
Reply:Wow, makes me wonder what I could make from all the boiler house cut outs that got scrapped over the years.


Reply:The nice thing is no worries about functionality.  As long as it is aesthetically pleasing. The base plates can be easily covered to make it look like it is coming out of the floor.
