c25 regulator help

i got the millermatic211 about a week ago and noticed right away the gas is leaking from the bottom port on the regulator which seems to be the pressure relief valve. based on the stamping on the back of the valve im assuming 3000psi is blow off. my c25 when full was 1900. is there any adjustment or repair that can be done on the valve ? i havent yet put any wrenches on it because i didnt want to leave a bunch of tool marks in case i have to send it back for replacement and they say i damaged it. heres photo of the bottom port and inscribed backside

Reply:If it's leaking from that relief valve return it. Something inside is bad, maybe the diaphragm. Threaded fittings another story, I had one (Miller) that extremely tight hose fitting still had a slight leak. I put one layer of Teflon tape and it holds gas for days on end. Some times the treads are just not perfect.Ernie F.
